Grain

Kernel is a leading exporter of grain produced in Ukraine, selling on the international market in the range of 10% of all grain exported by the country.

The Company manages the most comprehensive grain supply pipeline in Ukraine, an essential link between the farming industry, a vital sector of the Ukrainian economy, and the international market: Buying from thousands of farmers throughout the country, the Company originates and exports millions of tons of farm produce over each season. We buy agricultural commodities once the goods are harvested and safely stored in Kernel or third-party silos, mostly wheat, barley, corn, and oil-bearing crops, primarily rapeseed and soybean. Logistics within Ukraine are fully under the control of Kernel, from farm gate to discharge into grain terminals at load port. We market and sell the goods essentially in bulk on the international market, where we typically deliver to our customers either Free on board Black Sea or charter vessels and deliver directly to the country of final destination.
